Put your next software project in safe hands
We are a small, experienced team specialising in software product design, development and consultancy.
We ❤️ solving problems!
We have been building and selling software for 27+ years and we’d love to apply our experience to your project. Either as support to your existing team, or by taking on your project end-to-end ourselves.
We want to understand
We care deeply about solving real problems, so we’ll be happy to spend time with you, understanding exactly what it is you need before talking about building anything.
We are easy to talk to
We are friendly, interested and keep our conversations focused on the outcomes. We generally avoid talking technical, unless you want to get into that of course. 😉
We deliver — always
We have a solid record of delivering on our commitments, every time. We don't take on work we can't handle, we never overpromise and we love to do GREAT WORK!
Mike Parkinson, Microsoft MVP, APMP Fellow
“Neuxpower is a joy to work with and produces stellar software solutions to complex problems. The quality of their work is second to none. The team's ability to identify and eliminate risks BEFORE they happen has saved me money and time. I highly recommend Neuxpower. ”
Meet the Team
We’re a dependable, tight-knit team who have worked together for 15+ years. Our broad range of skills and experience mean we can confidently turn our hands to most business/technology problems.
ANDREW MOLYNEUX
DEVELOPMENT
I have a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, 1st Class and over the last 27 years I’ve created software in most languages you can name.
My role includes solution architecture and software development. I provide technical insight to test and refine our designs, before moving onto turning the designs into reality.
When I’m not coding at work, I do it for fun just for the joy of solving problems. 😊 I strongly believe in architecting and writing code so it not only functions as required today, but also so it can be more easily adapted to future requirements.
MIKE POWER
DESIGN
I love solving problems! Finding neat solutions to complex problems is what gets me out of bed in the morning.
My role includes product strategy, management and design. I make sure that we fully understand client’s problems, desired outcomes and the environment, so we can design effective solutions.
It's hard to overstate the importance of spending time in the design stage. The more detail you add, the greater your chances of success. I'm still pleasantly surprised by how many costly development holes we avoid without writing a line of code.
ANDY DARGON
DELIVERY
I'm passionate about using technology to simplify processes and workflows. I really enjoy communicating with clients; cutting through tech jargon and making complex concepts simple to understand.
My role includes project management, testing, documentation and training.
I carefully test the viability of proposed features and write detailed specifications during the design stage. Doing this properly frequently drives out weaknesses in the design that we can eliminate before it hits development.
I make sure that progress is communicated, changes are properly managed and that our software is rigorously tested before we release. I also create detailed technical and training documentation to ensure customers know how to use and support what we've built.
“They not only solved my problem but working with Neuxpower to implement this solution was a positive engaging experience too!”
— Sonny Abesamis, Norcal Group
Our process
We are small and flexible, but we do things properly, which means spending plenty of time at the beginning figuring out what you need.
BUILD
Once we start building, we will keep you regularly updated with progress as we go.
Making software is rarely straightforward, and there are often unforseen obstacles. Left unchecked they can turn into very expensive development black holes. We’ve got very good at spotting these kind of issues early to ensure builds stay on target. Anything that requires a change to designs will be verified with you first.
DELIVERY
The software naturally needs to work, but it also needs to be used. We make sure that training and documentation are not forgotten.
AFTERCARE
We only work with a small number of clients, and we love to be helpful, so we are happy to be your technical shoulder to lean on in between projects too.
Either a paid service contract with guaranteed service levels, or an informal setup where you can send over queries or assistance requests and we'll either just do them, or tell you when anything looks like 'real' work that needs to be charged.
REQUIREMENTS
We start by getting very clear on the problem(s) you need to solve. We aim to fully explore ideas and designs at this stage. Making sure you get this part right will avoid wasting time, money and so many potential problems!
At a minimum we will draft a document to outline our understanding of the problem and solution. Wireframes, and occasionally prototypes will be created for projects involving user interaction. We want to give you the best chance to verify, ask questions and test the proposed solution for weaknesses.
Once the scope is agreed we’ll provide a schedule and get ready to start building.

If you have any other questions or feedback, please contact us and we’ll get straight back to you.
-
We will be happy to give out a little advice on our call, once we understand what you need. We don’t take on every project — just those that are a great fit. Even if we can’t directly help though, we’ll probably be able to point you in the right direction for your next step.

We are a small team, so we work best on smaller projects in the $10k - $50k range.
